Bearers of AICEIA, Kerala Circle led by Com. Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Vice
President, AICEIA met Shri Najib Shah, Chairman, Central Board of Excise and Customs
during his visit to Kochi Headquarters. Com Prabodh S, President of Kerala
Circle of AICEIA and Com Ritesh Maanday, Joint Secretary of AICEIA. The
Association submitted certain points for consideration and discussed on those
points. In addition to the written submission, the Association brought to the
notice of the Chairman of the ‘NIL’ vacancy reported in all posts under CBEC
for CGL Examination, 2016 and sought to know whether CBEC has taken any
decision not to have any recruitment for the year 2016. We also requested him
to share updates on implementation of the GST. The meeting was positive and the
Chairman assured us that the points raised by us would be looked into.
